We have travel consultants and ground handlers across the UK and throughout the world to take care of all your travel requirements and to ensure you receive first class customer care from booking right through to the completion of your holiday. We are unobtrusive but always on hand whenever you need us and we'll be there to meet you when you arrive at your destination.

Karen Johnson - Managing Director

Karen has a life- long passion and experience of horses and has ridden extensively in every continent. She has a real drive and vision for the company and sets high standards for Redlands in every respect to ensure the company is entirely client focused. She acquired ‘Bridle Rides’ in 2009, determined to preserve the valued service of ‘take your horse on holiday in the UK’. Karen leads on America and Europe.

Mark Davies -Tour Guide

From a young age Mark has had a passion for places, culture and politics of the world. He combines this knowledge with a successful business acumen and his love of horses. An experienced horseman he has ridden in many parts of the world and majors on Africa and South America where he provides escorted tours at different times throughout the year. He is a knowledgeable and confident guide on trips in the Uk and teaches navigation and map reading if required.

Victoria Lambourne - Travel Consultant

Having been bitten by the travel bug aged 18, Victoria has travelled extensively throughout Asia and Europe, and has lived in both Hong Kong and Australia.  She is knowledgeable and interested in countries and their cultures and can often be found with her nose in a map.  With good editorial and administrative skills, as well as an excellent approach to customer care, she is a valuable asset to the team.  As a mother of three, she is also aware of juggling the needs of everyone on holiday.  She is the company secretary.

Shari-Jayne Boda - Sales and PR 

Shari-Jayne has extensive experience in public relations, brand marketing and sales. Qualified as a journalist, she has previously worked for regional and national press and is a published author. A keen and accomplished rider, she owns a young horse which she is currently training for dressage and show jumping. She has an excellent approach to customer care and is knowledgeable and thorough in her work.  Shari-Jayne works on the newsletter, website and DVD productions and is the sales and marketing lead for the North.

Denise Pointon - Finance Manager

With previous experience in many senior financial roles and industries, Denise has a thorough approach and high standards in all aspects of finance, contract management and accounting. Leading the Redlands Fianance Department, Denise works closely with the Operations division, ensuring that all operational flows from enquiry through to holiday are customer focused and effiecient. Whilst not a horse rider, Denise claims extensive experience in taking holidays!

Sarah Wheeler works on an ad hoc basis providing overall support from website updates to promotional materials.
