Karen Johnson - Managing Director

Karen has been involved with horses all her life, trained in natural horsemanship and classical English riding in all disciplines, she retains a passion for cross country jumping and fast riding. She has ridden extensively in every continent. She has a real drive and vision for the company and sets high standards for Redlands in every respect to ensure the company is entirely client focused and horse sensitive. She personally checks each and every holiday rejecting any that don't meet our stringent standards. She acquired ‘Bridle Rides’ in 2009, determined to preserve the unique of ‘take your horse on holiday in the UK’. She is knowledgeable about peoples and cultures of the world and a member of the National Geographic Society. Prior to establishing the Redlands company she was a successful business woman. She owns a 'spooky' thoroughbred, Flash by name and nature!

Mark Davies -Director

From a young age Mark had a passion for places, culture and politics of the world. He combines this with skills and experience of more than 20 years as a successful Cheif Executive. An experienced horseman he has ridden in many parts of the world. He is owner of a retrained racehorse and Irish sports horse.

Nichola Drew - Finance Manager

Nichola works ferociously in the background on all holiday and pricing details, determined to ensure that no detail goes unmissed and all office systems run without a hitch. She builds effective relationships with our rides and customers throughout the world. Nichola also organises the many horse events we exhibit at Worldwide.

Alicia Warman - Administrator

Alicia brings many skills to the Redlands team including organisation, customer service, and website skills. She ensures the booking procedures are fast and efficient and is really client focussed. She is a whizz at keeping our website up to date. She is a new rider and keen that this element is represented in our Redlands portfolio.

Travel Consultants and Representatives

We have travel consultants and ground handlers throughout the world to take care of all your travel requirements and to ensure you receive first class customer care from booking right through to the completion of your holiday. We are unobtrusive but always on hand whenever you need us and we'll be there to meet you when you arrive at your destination.
