"The guides and maps are neat and really easy to use. The accommodation and meals were excellent."- Fiona Clarke
The South Cotswolds is one of our most popular networks. It extends from Tetbury and Badminton in the south to Chedworth near Cheltenham in the north where you can ride through and past seriously beautiful parks and houses including Cirencester Park, Miserden Park and Pinbury Park. The bridleways are almost all very well-kept, and the countryside is straight out of any book of beautiful Britain, with lovely valleys and Cotswold-gem hamlets.
We offer 2, 3 and 4 day place-to-place rides back to start, plus a 4-day combination ride comprising the most popular 3-day itinerary plus an extra 4th day ride round Cirencester Park. There's also a choice of two one-centre holidays
Mountain bikes are prohibited from using the permissive routes in Cirencester Park and Miserden Park - the rest of the network is OK, although there are some steep hills in the west.
Also available as a UK Guided Ride
An 18.5 mile ride through the parks and gardens of a series of elegant country houses, including Cirencester Park in the beautiful South Cotswolds, which takes in steep wooded valleys and two popular country pubs (if required).
The second part of this ride is relatively fast as there are very few gates and takes you through a number of pretty villages including Shawswell, Sapperton, a former home of John Masefield, the former Poet Laureate, and Rendcombe.
Call us on +44 (0)1225 424413 or email contact@redlandsequestrian.com to check the ride availability and dates, once we have confirmed availability you can download and fill in a booking form:
Each rider in the party must also complete a riding ability questionnaire before we can complete the final confirmation of your holiday booking.
