Desert Ranch

Situated just 65 miles from Tucson in the high Sonoran Desert, this ranch offers a variety of unique & exciting rides.

Take a ride over rocky uplands and across grassland desert rounding up Longhorn cattle or maybe take part in one of the other many activities including, guided hikes, nature walks, mountain biking and bird watching. The traditional ranch vacation is suitable for riders of all abilities. After spending time in the saddle or exploring on foot, you can relax in the hot tub, cool down in the pool or have a massage before enjoying a pre dinner drink in the cantina.

The 300 year old intimate property is one of the last great haciendas in America & its history has been lovingly preserved in the beautiful buildings that rest comfortably in the rolling grasslands of the desert. Dining is focused around quality food and wine, encompassing a blend of Spanish, Mexican, Native American and Southwestern ingredients & is served either in the romantic and historic hacienda dining room, secluded outdoor courtyard or under the stars at a cookout. Rooms are uniquely and vibrantly furnished with Mexican antiques and vintage furniture. Each has a porch that opens to mountain views and most rooms have a wood burning fireplace.

With 2 scheduled horseback rides per day, each approx. 2 hours in duration, this traditional ranch vacation is suitable for all riding abilities.  Explore the surrounding countryside with experienced and informative wranglers.  All itineraries are tailor-made upon arrival but as well as being a unique holiday destination for those interested in horse riding, it is a perfect setting for hiking, nature trails and for those who love the great outdoors.

With more than 300 days of sunshine a year and night-time stars that shine with unmatched clarity within a coal black sky, the ranch is a special place that rejuenates the spirit and invigorates the soul and is suitable for individuals, couples, families and groups.

 Classic Room

Cozy rooms, fireplace available in most rooms, queen or twin sized bed, private bath and front porch. Amenities include plush robes, hair dryers, lotions, hand-milled soaps plus custom blended shampoo and conditioners.
If traveling with a family or another couple, we have a number of connecting rooms and also a number of two-bedroom units with a bath between the two rooms.

 Deluxe Room

Spacious bedroom, in-room fireplace, queen or king sized bed, large bath and front porch. Amenities include plush robes, hair dryers, lotions, hand-milled soaps, custom blended shampoo and conditioners plus CD music players.

If traveling with a family or another couple, we have a number of connecting rooms with separate bedrooms and private baths.

 Suite

Spacious master bedroom with king sized bed, fireplace, separate sitting room or second bedroom, large bath and most with both a front and back porch. Amenities include plush robes, hair dryers, lotions, bath salts, hand-milled soaps, custom-blended shampoo and conditioners, plus CD and DVD players for music and movies.
If you are traveling with a family or another couple, we have a number of two bedroom, two bath suites with a separate sitting room.

Transfer: not included. £80 for up to 3 people chaffeur driven car one way from Tucson airport to Ranch. We have details of recommended car hire companies should you require them.

Hours In Saddle: approx 4 hours per day. Please note that on US holidays the horses get a half day off and either one trail ride or dudeo is offered on these days.
