The region's dramatic landscape with its breathtaking panoramic views provides a wide range of routes for the adventurous spirit. Climbing up to the heights of the Sierra Nevada from the villages of the Alpujarras on the south-facing slopes, follow the ancient routes of smugglers and bandits as you look down at the Mediterranean and African continent beyond and enjoy the wonderful contrast between the warm valleys and cool summits of these impressive mountains. Ride through forests of cork and chestnuts, through wild lavender scented pastures and on to beautiful, historic vilages, where you can feast on local delicacies and experience a traditional way of life. 

A number of the tours have set dates, but private rides are available all year round (excluding July and August) and are adapted in length and pace to suit the riders. The usual meeting point is Gibraltar or guests are sometimes met at Malaga.  It is important to remember that due to the heat, you will spend less time in the saddle during the summer months.
