Suitable for: non-riders families
Trek over beautiful Tuscan hills through ancient vineyards and olive groves, and along winding roads. This trek is based very much in the area surrounding our riding centre, in the centre of the Rufina Chianti wine region. It is an ideal small trek for those who wish to combine riding with rest, sport with culture. You will stay 5 nights at the centre and 2 nights away during the trek.
Saturday:
Arrival and dinner at the centre.
Sunday:
Start with a lesson in the arena and then a 2 hour hack in the surrounding countryside.
Monday and Tuesday:
You will be taken for rides around the farm. For these first three days you will return to the centre in the evenings for dinner.
Wednesday to Friday:
On Wednesday you leave on the trek, riding all day long and carrying lunch in your saddle bag. Every day you will ride for 5-7 hours plus breaks for picnic lunches. You will stay overnight in a charming farmhouses near Fiesole. During the trek you will visit the famous Villa Demidoff and its monumental park, stopping for lunch at Castello del Trebbio, where you will also visit the cellars for some wine tasting.

Accommodation: shared rooms (2-4 people per room), shared bathroom between 2 rooms, full board including wine. Private rooms at the centre carry a supplement of £55 for a double & £125 for a single for the week. A party of 5 can share one room for a small discount.
