Trail Riding in Ribatejo:

Beach and Forest Riding in Spain:

"It is still a mystery to me how/why the Redlands Brochure was sent to me, but I am so glad that it was. Penny and Gordon were perfect hosts and made the stay even more enjoyable with the interesting local history, lively conversation and (I think mostly Gordon's) lovely meals, all very enjoyable indeed. The rooms were wonderful too - just the right amount of privacy for me, but in amongst everything  I enjoyed the riding immensely because the horses all seemed to enjoy the outtings too. They were lively but very well behaved and are very well cared for. It was important to me to go to a place where small groups are catered for, as we discussed. I did not know what to expect regarding the scenery but they ae very lucky to have such a picturesque forrest to ride in. Thank you for your team's help before I went too." Montana Ranch Holiday:

"I would recommend the Ranch for provding an overall experience. The riding was wonderful and exceeded expectations. The horses were very well cared for and Ranch staff were very flexible in meeting our every need. The food was excellent. The area was interesting with wonderful scenery. we enjoyed ourselves so much at the ranch that we booked additional riding rather than touring as we had originally planned on our 'non riding days. I did experience altitude sickness and this should be made clear to clients as a possiblity. (we have made this clearer on the site) the personal service on telephone and email throughout the booking was very helpful from the Redlands team." Anne Jones October 2011

French Chateau:

"the accomodation and food were fantastic; the horses are well schooled and a pleasure to ride. We chose to travel by train, which was organised brilliantly by the Redlands team; this did mean however that we didn't have a car and as the location is very remote and difficult to get taxis we did feel that on another visit we might fly and hire a car. We really enjoyed the riding which is mainly on tracks some of these are stoney; this means that you can't always go fast. I think at times we would have preferred some faster paces. All in all a great holiday and we would consider going back." Gillian Hammond October 2011

French Chateau Riding Holiday:

"The Chateau accommodation is wonderful we had 2 bedrooms at the side, which were spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Out hosts Linda and Chris were extremely hospitable and Linda is a divine cook. The meals were gourmet standard and so well presented in a lovely old style dining room. There were always drinks and nibbles pre dining so we could chat about the day and other things too.

The stable block was just as you would wish for clean, airy and pleasant for the horses with a correct out fitted tack room. My horse was just gorgeous the type of horse I would like to own, Ayva a French war horse. Tanya the riding instructor was extremely professional whilst being approachable and good fun. I felt very comfortable in her care and she was also willing to give instruction by appointment.  I was disappointed when it was time to come home as I had enjoyed myself immensely." Uruguay:

“Thank you so much for your expertise in arranging this trip. The travelling went like clockwork and the holiday was excellent- although we had a few surprises! The horses are wonderful and well looked after. I am a bit of a wimp with new horses and unfamiliar surroundings, plus of course a whole new riding technique. That was difficult to get to grips with but after a few days we were coping OK. My horse was very good and I enjoyed her, and Jill had a partnership going too. The tour guide is excellent; professional, caring, with a sense of humour, and I would recommend her without hesitation. The second horse I had there was a gem; I could bring him home any time. The beach rides were as described; the best ever. The accommodation was mixed between excellent hotels, basic fishing village accommodation and estancias. I would not in all honesty go back as it was a culture shock but we are very glad we went. I have looked at your brochure again and picked out my next one! "The booking process was brilliant we had lots of queries and uncertainties about the bike/ride safari. Every question was checked and clarified; so the holiday was beautifully matched to what we wanted. Overall we loved every minute. I was the worst/least confident rider but still managed the gallops and the jumping. The whole ride was superbly organised and being able to take a riding holiday with my hubby who cannot ride and prefers mountain bikes was fantastic.
